Andy Soloman, Founder
Andy Soloman founded Content Rev after a varied and somewhat unconventional career that has seen him working across all key media platforms as a journalist and global publishing leader.
Andy is an expert in conceiving and delivering premium subscription market intelligence services. Before Content Rev, he spent 10 years leading major B2B information businesses as Global Business Director for McGraw-Hill’s Platts division and as Global Editorial Director for ICIS, part of Reed Elsevier.
He has also worked as a professional photographer covering news, entertainment and advertising and as a top international journalist and foreign correspondent.
As a journalist, Andy worked for some of the biggest names including Reuters, Associated Press and numerous newspapers and magazines. His work took him on assignments across Europe, Asia and even to Antarctica where one day he found himself sitting on Captain Scott’s bed.
From 1992-99 he was based in Hanoi, Vietnam, where he was the doyen of the foreign correspondent corps. He spent time in Singapore and was also posted to Pakistan where he was involved in leading Reuters coverage of the post 9/11 attacks.
Wherever he has reported, Andy has broken key stories, managed output and been at the front of the news agenda in some of the toughest environments.
Andy is passionate about life and relishes challenges. He is a catalyst for change, an innovator and an inspirational leader who is skilled at motivating high-performance teams to deliver outstanding business success.
